Adult Sunday School
Our Adult Sunday School rotates both teachers and the studies we do together. We are often studying a book of the Bible or going through a topical study together. Below you can find what a class will be about, who will be teaching, and how long the class will run. There is no expectation that you must be at every class nor that you start right a the beginning. Jump into Sunday school any time throughout the year and get studying!
We meet from 9:15-10:00am Sunday mornings in Room 3-4.
Sharing the Gift of Encouragement
Gary Hamm is teaching a class this winter, December 2nd - February 24th, that will work through Charles Stanley's book Sharing the Gift of Encouragement. Books will be available for use or purchase in the class, but you can feel free to pick up a copy for yourself online. The study will walk through Bible passages explaining Biblical principles we can use to encouraging others .
All are welcome in the fellowship hall from 10:00-10:30am for coffee and light refreshments each Sunday morning. Coffee, tea, juice, and water are served in the Fellowship Hall along with tasty baked goods, yogurt, and seasonal fruit. We have some gluten free options as well.
10:30 am in the sanctuary. The services are normally about 65 minutes, and involve singing, prayer, and teaching from the Bible.
Seeking to honor God - with sincere gratitude and share with one another the joy of our salvation through song, prayer, and readings - we aim to be a grace-filled community that emphasizes the congregational voice in worship.
Messages are Jesus and Scripture centered. Kids preK through 2nd grade are dismissed right before the message starts for Gospel-centered teaching just for them. Children are always welcome to stay throughout the message.
Depending on the morning there may also be real-life stories, special choirs, or communion as part of our worship time.
