Small Group Ministry
Milaca Alliance is committed to the spiritual health and growth of all it’s members. We believe that small groups meet that need.
What is a Small Group?
A small group is a home where 6-15 people meet together, once a week, in Christ’s name to fellowship with one another. Belonging to a group is an excellent way to really care for one another and to give and recieve love. It’s being accepted where you are and giving acceptance to other people who come into the group. It is where heart-to-heart fellowship takes place. It is where people are encouraged and supported when they encounter the difficult trials of life. Small groups meet in homes, most of them geographically located. Each group features a host family and a leader who guides the discussion.
Characteristics of a small group:
- It provides a close family.
- It provides a application of the Bible for daily life.
- It provides sharing of life’s testimony.
- It provides encouragement and edification.
- It provides spiritual growth
- It provides one-on-one spiritual care for people.
- It provides unlimited opportunities for meaningful service.
Key Components of a small group:

- Prayer—Member voluntarily pray for various need expressed in the group.
- Application of the Bible—This is a Bible study that is more than just getting Bible knowledge. It is learning how truth can make a difference in daily life.
- Fellowship—Serving of a meal or refreshments
