Groups include:
Mary-Martha Circle–meets monthly
Ruth Circle–
Hannah Prayer Circle–9:00-10:30am the 2nd-5th Fridays of the month at the church (moms and their children welcome)
Women in these groups are responsible for organizing and serving at funerals, showers, and other special events held at church. Events include:
-
Family Night – this event is held twice yearly to raise money for a special national missionary project. On average we raise $1,000- $1200 a year for teaching materials, beds and fixing up dorm rooms for Missionary Kids schools around the world, radio broadcasting funds, etc.
-
Ladies’ Retreat – Every Spring we invite ladies of all ages together for fellowship, fun and spiritual refreshment. The event beings on a Friday evening, continues through the night (at least for some) and on into Saturday. Activities include a special speaker, music, art, games, food and more.
-
Spring Luncheon – The Spring Luncheon is held in May and celebrates women as daughters, wives and mothers of our King Jesus. Check the events calendar for details about this event.
-
Mid-Summer Brunch – We gather in July for brunch and a special guest speaker.
-
Christmas Party – We gather with women of all ages to celebrate Christ’s Birth with a special speaker and music. Women at this event will be given the opportunity to participate in our yearlong Prayer Partner Ministry. After revealing our prayer partners from the previous year with a Christmas Gift, each woman will secretly pull a name out of a basket and commit to praying, encouraging and surprising a new sister in Christ. This is a great time of fun and fellowship.
-
Sewing Days – Women are invited on a monthly basis to join us for sewing days. Sewing days are used to make items for those in need in our local community and foreign countries. Special quilts are assembled and sewn for those who marry, have babies or those in the community who suffer the devastation of a fire.
