What is AWANA?
Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed
“Do you best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)
AWANA is an international, non-denominational Bible-centered children’s ministry. The goal of this 90 minute program is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him.
Our AWANA program is fun & exciting! It is centered on God’s Word, the Bible and includes, Bible lessons, scripture memorization, games, awards, uniforms and snacks. Your children will expreience fun together, help each other, pray and care for each other, and learn from God’s Word how much He loves them.
Our church provides a loving and secure environmentthat you child will enjoy. Our leaders are equipped to work with your children, and they will be happy to anwser your questions. They are dedicated to the ministry of supporting you as your train your child.
AWANA meets on Wednesday evenings, during the school year, from 6:25 pm to 8:05 pm. Children ages 3 through grade 6 may participate.
CUBBIES: includes children 2 years prior to kindergarten (must be 3 by Sept. 1 & potty trained)
SPARKS: includes Kindergarten-2nd grade
TRUTH & TRAINING (TNT): includes 3rd-6th grade
The AWANA kids are invited to be part of our annual Christmas Parogram in December. The program includes drama and great music.
The AWANA prayer, which is also our prayer, is that all children throughout the world will come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
